Welcome! I am a geologist from the National University of Colombia and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing, Geoinformation, and Communication at the University of Potsdam (Germany). I work as a Data Analyst in the Data group at Planet Labs (Berlin), where I help turn large-scale Earth observation data into reliable, usable insights. My Master’s thesis focuses on 3D point clouds of a large, complex landslide, using deep learning to extract meaningful patterns from high-resolution terrain data. I’m exploring U-Net–based segmentation models adapted for point-cloud/3D representations to map landslide morphology, identify areas of change, and support time-series analysis from repeated surveys.
